We fly the ever reliable, American made, Robinson R44, four seat, helicopter. The model we use is the Clipper II with a fuel injected engine and pop-out floats. This helicopter has the latest curved tipped rotors, giving a low noise footprint rating of 75.9dB @ 1000 foot flyover.
For your comfort and enjoyment, we have leather seats, "Bose" noise cancelling headsets and bubble windows.
For your safety, we have additionally installed every available safety device, including back up systems and "Flight Following", the ultimate in safety.
Our pilots also carry while "on safari" or when off-shore whale watching, additonal safety equipment. This equipment comprises, a 406mHz Personal Emergency Locater GPS beacon, a strobe, a pack of mini-flares, a Heliograph, sea dye, and foil anti exposure sheets.
For extended off-shore flights, or when crossing Bass Strait, we normally carry a four person liferaft with emergency provisions.
